The Orme Warriors lost against the Trinity Christian Warriors back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The matchup between Orme and Trinity Christian wasn't particularly close, with Orme falling 48-34. While losing is never fun, Orme can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arizona basketball rankings (they are ranked 214th, while Trinity Christian is ranked 61st).
When it comes to explaining why Orme lost, one person who can't be blamed is Bartek Kreglewski. Despite the final result, he scored 12 points along with five rebounds and four steals. Kreglewski hasn't dropped below two steals for seven straight games. Another player making a difference was Owen Rudolph, who scored two points along with five rebounds and three blocks.
Orme's defeat dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Trinity Christian, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 18-5.
Orme will play host again and welcome American Heritage Academy, where tip off is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. American Heritage Academy is coming into the matchup with four straight wins on the road, meaning Orme will have to defend against a squad hungry for a win. Trinity Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
