Illinois Lutheran has not had much luck with the Bobcats recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.
Despite the loss, Illinois Lutheran still got an impressive performance from Sam Adeniran, who scored 16 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. It was the first time this season that Adeniran grabbed two or more steals.
Illinois Lutheran struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only two offensive rebounds. They are 1-6 when they can't control their own glass like that.
Illinois Lutheran dropped their record down to 4-17 with that loss, which was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Beecher, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 25-0.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Illinois Lutheran will challenge the Screaming Eagles at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Beecher, they will head out on the road to square off against the Tigers at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
