Our Lady Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were one goals away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the George County Rebels. The Crescents were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Rebels apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2015.
Our Lady Academy now has a losing record at 5-6-1. As for George County, they picked up their first home win, bumping their record up to 4-6-3.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Our Lady Academy will challenge Bay at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Bay knows how to get goals on the board -- the squad has finished with four goals or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully Our Lady Academy likes a good challenge. As for George County, they will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Pascagoula at 5:30 p.m.
