Given North Kissimmee Christian's advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 337th, while the Hurricanes are ranked 775th), the result on Friday wasn't entirely unexpected.
North Kissimmee Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Pourchons Morisseau, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 23 rebounds. Morisseau hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for four straight games. Another player making a difference was Izaiah Noel, who scored 26 points along with five assists.
North Kissimmee Christian is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 23-5 record this season. As for Eastland Christian, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.
