After flying high against Lynwood last Thursday, Bellflower came back down to earth. The Buccaneers fell just short of the Firebaugh Falcons by a score of 11-10 on Tuesday. Even though they lost, the Buccaneers' still made a splash at the plate and bumped their average scoring up to 6.2 runs per game (they're now ranked -1th in scoring overall).
Crystal Menchaca put in work while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out seven batters over 6.1 innings while giving up three earned (and eight unearned) runs off eight hits.
