Mora's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Crosby-Ironton Rangers a 21-0 shutout. The Mustangs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matchups by seven runs or more this season.

Aubrey Athey was a standout: she got on base in four of her five plate appearances with four runs, three RBI, and two doubles. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Abigail Kelash, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with four runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Mora always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .651. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Mora now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Crosby-Ironton, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mora will take on Ogilvie at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Crosby-Ironton, they will challenge Hinckley-Finlayson at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
