Tray Wilson Delivers Best Effort of Season
Central was led to victory by Tray Wilson, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Wilson rushed for 111 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries, and also picked up 76 receiving yards and a touchdown. The effort marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in August of 2023. The bulk of those receiving yards came from one huge play: a catch that gained an incredible 72 yards.
If history really does repeat itself, Wilson might just drop another big game when he faces off against Chesterfield on Friday. Wilson picked up 99 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 78 yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries the last time he and the Golden Rams duked it out back in October of 2023.

Cam Mcclendon Dazzles in Cheraw Victory
Cam McClendon's big game helped extend Cheraw's winning streak to three on Friday. McClendon was dynamite, rushing for 123 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.2 yards per carry. He is becoming a predictor of Cheraw's success: when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns the team is 4-1 (and 1-2 when he doesn't).
McClendon is probably looking forward to his next game, a road matchup against Buford on Thursday. McClendon rushed for 100 yards and a touchdown on only 11 carries the last time he and the Yellow Jackets duked it out back in October of 2023.
