Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Kit Carson to victory, but perhaps none more so than Lindsey Mayhan, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 13 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Payge Booker-rady, who scored 17 points along with eight rebounds and three steals.
Despite the loss, Flagler still got an impressive performance from Jaylie Stone, who scored 21 points along with eight rebounds and two steals. Sydnie Berry was another key contributor, scoring four points along with four steals.
Kit Carson has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season. As for Flagler, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season.
Kit Carson will head out on the road to face off against the Wolverines at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Flagler, they will be playing at home against the Patriots at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Colorado (Hi-Plains is ranked 146th, while the Panthers are ranked 168th).
