Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Chattahoochee County). They breezed by the Central Hawks to the tune of 53-25 on Saturday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Panthers as it put an end to their eight-game losing streak.

Chattahoochee County found their leader in sophomore Kamiyah Brown, who posted 22 points. Those 22 points gave Brown a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Makiyah Clark, who put up 11 points.

Chattahoochee County's win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 3-10. As for Central, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-5 record this season.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Schley County the next time they take the court. Central will head out to face Schley County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Chattahoochee County will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
