The West Franklin Falcons are taking a road trip to  square off against the Central Heights Vikings  at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
Last Friday, West Franklin was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap  as they fell  34-28 to Burlingame. The  defeat   continues a  trend for the Falcons in their matchups with the Bearcats: they've now lost six in a row.
Meanwhile, Central Heights hadn't done well against Northern Heights recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way  on Friday. Central Heights had just enough and edged out Northern Heights  39-36. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for the Vikings.
 Central Heights' win came from a few key players West Franklin will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was  Melaney Chrisjohn, who  posted six  points along with ten  steals and five  assists. She is becoming a predictor of Central Heights' success: when she posts  at  least five  steals the team is undefeated (and 5-10 when she doesn't). The team also got some help courtesy of  Sydney Evans, who  earned 11 points and eight  boards.
 Central Heights' record now sits at 9-10. As for West Franklin, their loss dropped their record down to 6-14.
