Basketball Recap: Christian Collegiate Academy Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Noah Davis and Tahj Hill

Christian Collegiate Academy suffered their closest loss since February 16th on Saturday. They fell just short of the Bay Tigers by a score of 52-50. The Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.

Christian Collegiate Academy's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Tahj Hill, who went 6 of 11 on his way to 16 points and five boards, and Noah Davis, who went 5 of 10 on his way to 15 points. The dominant performance gave Davis a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Gabe Collier, who posted nine points.

Christian Collegiate Academy has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season. As for Bay, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-9.

Christian Collegiate Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Amite School Center at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Christian Collegiate Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 50.2 points per game this season. As for Bay, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Bay Tigers face off against the Greene County Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Greene County has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 175 points over their last three games.
