Volleyball Recap: Chico Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Chico, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Bridgeport Bulls on Tuesday as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The Dragons have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bulls, too.

Chico was especially dominant in the second set. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-12, 25-18.

Rylee Adams paced Chico's offense, picking up eight kills. Adams got some help from Camryn Sides and her 13 assists. Sides was also solid from the service line: she led the team with seven aces.

The win got Chico back to even at 1-1. As for Bridgeport, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.

Coming up, Chico will be taking part in a tournament against De Leon at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bridgeport, they will take on Arlington Heights in a tournament on Thursday.
