In what's become a running theme this season, the Chapin Huskies gave their fans yet another huge victory on Friday. They put the hurt on Andress with a sharp 53-31 victory. The win was familiar territory for Chapin who now have eight in a row.
Among those leading the charge was Savion Jordan, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds and five steals. Jayden Leverett was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with six rebounds.
Chapin pushed their record up to 23-4 with that victory, which was their 21st straight on the road. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 28.33 points. As for Andress, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-10.
Chapin will be playing at home against Jefferson at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Jefferson will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 1463rd, while Chapin is ranked 38th). As for Andress, they will head out on the road to face off against El Paso at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
