 North Star found their leader in underclassman  Kasey Yoder, who threw for 218 yards and three touchdowns while completing 73.9% of his passes, and also rushed for 66 yards and a touchdown. Yoder got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 57 yards.  Cash Hawkins was  Yoder's top target, picking up 91 receiving yards and a touchdown.
 Meanwhile, Everett was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Friday as the team picked up their third straight  loss. They came up short against  Clear Spring, falling  30-6. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' football rankings in their respective home states  (they are ranked 462nd in Pennsylvania, while the Blazers are ranked 142nd in Maryland).
 The  victory made it two in a row for North Star and  bumps their season record up to 4-1. As for Everett, they now  have a losing record at 2-3.
