Baseball Recap: Bolles Extends Winning Streak to Three

Bolles waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Maclay Marauders by a score of 8-4.

Bolles let Gabe Gonzalez and Denzel Del Valle Delgado run wild. Gonzalez went 2-for-4 with one home run and three RBI, while Del Valle Delgado went 1-for-2 with four RBI, one run, and one double. That's the most RBI Gonzalez has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Jackson Geist, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3.

Bolles' record now sits at 15-6. As for Maclay, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 13-6.

Coming up, Bolles will be playing at home against Parkview at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The Bulldogs' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Panthers have averaged an impressive 8.4 runs per game this season. As for Maclay, they will take on Jefferson County at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
