Archbishop McCarthy posted their biggest victory yet this season on Wednesday. They took their matchup at home with ease, bagging a 66-28 win over Reagan. 66 seems to be a good number for Archbishop McCarthy as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.
It was another big night for Guy Twitty, who dropped a double-double on 24 points and 15 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Another player making a difference was George Sterr, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds.
Meanwhile, NSU University humbled Ransom Everglades with a 81-41 victory. With NSU University ahead 55-23 at the half, the game was all but over already.
Anthony Ferrer continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 31 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of NSU University's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Darwin Brooks, who scored 15 points.

Keep an eye on the arc in Saturday's contest: Archbishop McCarthy have made nailing deep shots look easy this year this season, having only averaged 7.6 threes per game. It's a different story for NSU University, though, as they've been averaging only 3.9 threes per game. Given Archbishop McCarthy's sizeable advantage in that area, NSU University will need to find a way to close that gap.
