The Christian Community Colts scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They really took it to Lancaster Christian Academy for the full four quarters, racking up a 74-16 win on the road. The result was nothing new for Christian Community, who have now won seven matches by 27 points or more so far this season.
Christian Community was led to victory by A.C. Caverly and M.J. Dodd. Caverly scored 18 points along with five rebounds, while Dodd scored 14 points along with five steals. Those five steals set a new season-high mark for her. Autumn Ray was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with five steals.
Christian Community's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-8. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.3 points per game. As for Lancaster Christian Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Christian Community and Franklin Road Christian will face off at 6:00 p.m. on January 8th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. As for Lancaster Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Franklin Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
