Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Scotus). Their defense stepped up to hand the Madison Dragons an 8-0 shutout on Tuesday. Scotus has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-6 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 11 goals over those four contests. As for Madison, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-7.
Looking ahead, Scotus will square off against Schuyler at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Schuyler will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Scotus surely won't give up without a fight. As for Madison, they will take on College View Academy at 5:00 p.m. on May 1.
