After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Adairsville, Gilmer was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Ridgeland Panthers. The result was nothing new for Gilmer, who have now won four matches by three goals or more so far this season.

Yenifer Lopez and Joei Marshall scored all 11 of Gilmer's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 22 goals.

Gilmer's victory bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Ridgeland, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-10 record this season.
