Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask West Point). Everything went their way against the Charles City Panthers on Tuesday as they made off with a 28-18 victory. The Pointers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Panthers, too.

West Point got a massive performance out of Gavin Stoffer, who got on base in five of his six plate appearances with four runs, two stolen bases, and three RBI. Those RBI were Stoffer's first of the season. Another player making a difference was Jake Atkins, who got on base in four of his six plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

West Point always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .661. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

West Point's win bumped their record up to 2-9. As for Charles City, they dropped their record down to 1-11 with the defeat, which was their 18th straight on the road dating back to last season.
