Pinellas Park's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ja?naija Roney, who scored 24 points. Jayla Marke was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
Several Vikings players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jy'Aira Washington, who scored 23 points along with three steals. That was a full 52.3% of Northeast's points, marking the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pinellas Park will take on Largo at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Largo is no doubt hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. As for Northeast, they will be playing at home against Gibbs at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. Gibbs presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Northeast in Florida (Gibbs is ranked 115th, while Northeast is ranked 541st).
