Riggs will look to defend their home turf on Friday against Mitchell at 7:00 PM. Riggs have bulldozed their previous four opponents, so Mitchell might have their hands full.
Riggs put the finishing touches on their 4th blowout victory of the season last Friday. Everything came up roses for them against Sturgis Brown as the team secured a 35-0 victory. Sophomore Maguire Raske, who rushed for 190 yards and 4 touchdowns, was a major factor in Riggs's success. Raske has now scored at least one touchdown in the past 3 games.
Meanwhile, Mitchell had enough points to win and then some against Huron, taking their contest 28-13. The success made it back-to-back wins for Mitchell.
Their wins bumped Riggs to 5-1 and Mitchell to 3-3. Mitchell's offensive line will need to gear up for a tough test against a Riggs defensive front that amassed four sacks against Sturgis Brown, so we'll see if they are up to the task.
