St. Monica (Santa Monica, Calif.) 33-27 on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a touchdown pass by

Jack Cain, the Mariners went into halftime with a 39-13 lead. The Saints took the lead for good with a Redeaux touchdown run in the fourth quarter.
Despite scoring zero points in the third, St. Anthony still trailed by 26 points going into the fourth quarter. But eight points in the fourth helped SA pull out the victory.
Last season's game between the teams resulted in a 16-13 win for the Long Beach school.
The victory was a step in the right direction for the Saints, who were coming off a 64-37 defeat at the hands of Salesian in its previous game. The win broke St. Anthony's two-game losing streak.
St. Monica (3-6) goes up against Salesian in a Santa Fe game matchup next week, while St. Anthony (5-3) locks horns with Bellarmine-Jefferson also in a Santa Fe game.
