Springstead's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Addy Osborne, who scored 12 points along with nine rebounds. Samantha Suarez was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with six assists and two steals.
Springstead's victory was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-3. As for East Lake, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-8 record this season.
Springstead will be playing at home against Hernando at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for East Lake, they will head out on the road to take on Fivay at 7:45 p.m. on Thursday.
