The Plymouth Pilgrims/Rockies suffered their biggest loss since December 30, 2023 on Thursday. They were dealt a 59-29 loss at the hands of Northridge. Plymouth has not had much luck with Northridge recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Plymouth's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Alana Allen, who scored ten points along with eight rebounds and two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Lena Jones, who scored 11 points along with two steals.
Northridge got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Gaby Gates out in front who scored 15 points along with two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Gates has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Camryn Conley, who scored 14 points along with three steals.
Plymouth has been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-11 record this season. As for Northridge, they pushed their record up to 21-3 with that win, which was their 13th straight at home.
Plymouth will head out on the road to square off against Argos at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Northridge, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Warsaw at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Warsaw is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
