It was another big night for Trey Nevad, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 14 rebounds. Nevad is absolutely dominating the rebound category: he's posted at least eight every time he's taken the court this season. Isaiah Scott was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with six rebounds and three blocks.
Despite the loss, Calvary Chapel Academy had strong showings from Ethan Harvath, who scored seven points along with six rebounds and three steals, and Kaleb Steiger, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 rebounds. That was a full 44.8% of Calvary Chapel Academy's points, marking the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Merritt Island Christian's victory bumped their record up to 6-7. As for Calvary Chapel Academy, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season.
