Thomas-Fay-Custer has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will face off against The Hooker Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
Last Friday, Thomas-Fay-Custer came up short against Mooreland and fell 22-12.
Meanwhile, Hooker put the finishing touches on their seventh blowout victory of the season on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Merritt 49-13 on the road. The victory was familiar territory for Hooker who now have five in a row.
Hooker's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Justin Palacios, who rushed for 162 yards and two touchdowns, and Kleat Martens, who rushed for 134 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries. Palacios hasn't dropped below 100 rushing yards for five straight games.
The opposite results left the teams with opposite records: Mooreland's win pushed their record up to 4-5, while Thomas-Fay-Custer's defeat dropped theirs down to 5-4.
Thomas-Fay-Custer was taken down by Hooker 61-0 when the teams last played back in November of 2022. Can Thomas-Fay-Custer avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
