Fort Wayne South Side's Donovan Clark rumbled for the longest rushing play in Summit this season in his game against Fort Wayne Northrop last week. Clark's team defeated the Bruins as he sprinted for 80 yards on the play and finished with 257 in all.
Adding to the longest winning streak in the league this week, Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger beat La Salle 31-24,. This was the team's fifth consecutive win.
Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran's dynamic duo of David Morrison and Jake Minich proved tough for Fort Wayne Snider to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Morrison threw for 267 yards and Minich had 129 yards receiving. Devin Sparks helped Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 67 yards.
The Cadets' dynamic duo of Morrison and Minich proved to be unstoppable against the Panthers, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week.
Minich was the best receiver in the league this week as Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran lost to Fort Wayne Snider.
Clark was the most successful running back in Summit this week. Teammate Diante Walker added to the ground attack by rushing for 100 yards.
Clark was a force in the backfield as Fort Wayne South Side bested Fort Wayne Northrop.
Morrison put up the best numbers through the air as Tim Mannigel's team fell to Kurt Tippmann's team.
The Cadets' Morrison and CJ Morris have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Morrison has thrown for 1,034 yards this season, while Morris, a 5-foot-11 receiver, has 21 catches for 366 yards. Eddie Fields' team's Clark leads the league in rushing yards with 583.
Two of the top units in the league will face off this week when Fort Wayne Wayne takes on Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger. The Generals' offense has racked up 148 points this season, earning them the top spot in the league, while Chris Svarczkopf's team has allowed only 76 on the year.
Fans will be thrilled by an exciting game in the secondary when Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran's Morris goes up against Fort Wayne Bishop Luers's Chance Young.
Next week's game between the Cadets and the Knights will feature an aerial matchup as Morrison tests his arm against Young's defensive ability.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Fort Wayne Wayne takes on the Saints. Robert Brown's team is currently in third, while Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger is in first.
The Archers took down Tim Martone's team 47-21 last week, the largest margin of any game. Clark in the win.
