Oneida extended the longest winning streak in A District 4 this week by beating Sunbright, 51-7. The victory was the eighth in a row for the team.
Oliver Springs made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 10,128 from 10,569. The improvement was the result of 27-20 victory over Wartburg Central last week.
Sunbright's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Tigers feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Jacob Swint has thrown for 256 yards and one touchdown this season, while Chris Blackburn has five catches for 108 yards. Skyler Bunch leads the league in rushing with 703 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Oakdale takes on Coalfield. At the moment, the Eagles are in sixth, while the Yellowjackets are in second.
Oneida led A District 4 in scoring this week after putting up 51 points on the Tigers.
