Basketball Recap: Chrisman Takes a Loss

Chrisman lost against Tri-County [Kansas/Shiloh/Oakland] back in November and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Chrisman Cardinals had to suffer through a 70-35 loss at the hands of the Tri-County [Kansas/Shiloh/Oakland] Titans. The Cardinals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

When it comes to explaining why Chrisman lost, don't look at Statler Mitchell. Despite the final result, he almost dropped a double-double on nine points and ten rebounds. Mitchell is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last three games he's played.

Tri-County [Kansas/Shiloh/Oakland]'s win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kahle Lee, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 12 rebounds. Those 12 boards gave Lee a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Chase Rhode, who went 7 of 11 on his way to 17 points and four steals.

Chrisman's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Tri-County [Kansas/Shiloh/Oakland], their record is now 6-4.

Chrisman didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 69-45 loss against Martinsville on the 27th. As for Tri-County [Kansas/Shiloh/Oakland], they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 58-30 defeat against Paris on the 27th.
