On Saturday, Reed humbled Sage Ridge with a 76-25 victory. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 40-16.
Reed had a senior duo take command as Marcus Bartholet scored 21 points along with 3 steals and Jace Rickman-buono scored 9 points along with 8 steals. Another player making a difference was Gabriel Smith, who scored 10 points along with 5 assists and 3 steals.
The win makes it two in a row for Reed and bumps their season record up to 2-3. As for Sage Ridge, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
Reed will be playing in front of their home fans against Douglas at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Douglas focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 17 on Saturday. Sage Ridge's road trip will continue as they head out to face Coral Academy of Science - Reno at 6:00 p.m. on December 5th.
