  Jaishawn Woods and  OB Lowery Jr. certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss.  Woods  went 14-for-21  to rack up 28 points, while  Lowery Jr.  went 7-for-15  en route to 19  points. Another player making a difference was  Cayden Rumph, who  posted three points in addition to ten  assists and seven  rebounds.
 Crest was led to victory by  D'Various Surratt and  Lyrik Pettis.  Surratt  dropped  a double-double with 19  points and ten  boards, while  Pettis  went 7-for-14  on his way to 17 points. The dominant performance gave  Surratt a new career-high in  rebounds.  Cal Pass Jr. was another key player,  putting up eight  points and ten  boards.
This is the second loss in a row for South Point and  nudges their season record down to 12-11. As for Crest, the  victory was  the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 18-2.
 Looking ahead, South Point will be playing in front of their home fans against North Gaston  at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday. South Point is facing North Gaston at the right time seeing as North Gaston is stuck on  an  11-game losing streak. As for Crest, they will head out to  face off against Kings Mountain  at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday. Crest knows how to get  points on the board -- the  team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 17 contests -- so hopefully Kings Mountain likes a good challenge.
