Basketball Recap: Faith Baptist Christian Academy Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Emree Mattingly and Aimee Massey

Faith Baptist Christian Academy lost against Alleluia Community back in November and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Faith Baptist Christian Academy Crusaders took a 53-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Alleluia Community Angels. The Crusaders' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Faith Baptist Christian Academy's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Aimee Massey, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 15 boards, and Emree Mattingly, who posted 11 points and six boards. The dominant performance also gave Massey a new career-high in blocks (two).

Alleluia Community was led to victory by Sarah Germann and Alley McBride. Germann had 23 points, while McBride earned 20 points.

Faith Baptist Christian Academy's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-4. As for Alleluia Community, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-4.

Faith Baptist Christian Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 56-45 defeat against Coastal HomeSchool on the 14th. As for Alleluia Community, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 38-36 loss against Memorial Day on the 14th.
