 Memorial Day's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Jr Rowland, who threw for 160 yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 50 yards.
 Fullington Academy pushed their record up to 4-2 with the  victory, which was their third straight  on the road. As for Memorial Day,  they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-5.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fullington Academy will venture away from home to  challenge David Emanuel Academy  at 6:00  p.m.  on Monday. As for Memorial Day, they will get a bit of extra time to process the  defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Crisp Academy at 7:00  p.m.  on October 4th. Memorial Day is facing Crisp Academy at the right time seeing as Crisp Academy is stuck on  a  three-game losing streak.
