Several Lions players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Berkley Schneider, who went 6-for-14 on her way to 13 points and six boards. Schneider is also on a roll when it comes to blocks, as she's now posted two or more in each of the last five games she's played. Mikaela-Zoe Colon was another key player, going 5-for-12 to rack up 11 points and six rebounds.

Lutheran's loss dropped their record down to 12-11. As for Air Academy, their victory was their 18th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 22-0.
Coming up, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Lions take on the Cougars on March 1st. Evergreen will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Lutheran surely won't give up without a fight. Air Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
