Manassas Park gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Freedom Eagles with a sharp 21-4 win. This was payback for the Cougars, who suffered a 21-11 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Minh Huynh made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit (and only one walk). Huynh was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base.
