Moody is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last three games she's played dating back to last season. Lauren Crosland was another key player, going 7 for 13 en route to 15 points plus five rebounds and two steals.
The victory made it two in a row for South Pointe and bumps their season record up to 2-0. As for Spring Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
South Pointe wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 57-7 win against Northwestern on the 3rd. Spring Valley has also already played their next game, a 72-26 victory against Richland Northeast on the 3rd.
