Ward Melville got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Ethan Burgos out in front who threw for 68 yards and two touchdowns on only six passes, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. Another player making a difference was Griffin Kramer, who rushed for 95 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 carries.
Ward Melville's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Longwood, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-3.
