Harrison hasn't had much luck against Discovery Canyon recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The Panthers will challenge the Thunder at 12:00 p.m. Harrison has given up an average of 38.3 points per game this season, but Saturday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.
Harrison is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against Lewis-Palmer on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Panthers were dealt a 60-20 defeat at the hands of the Rangers. The Panthers were already down big by the end of the third quarter and they stayed that way after failing to score in the fourth.

Despite their loss, Harrison saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. RAWLSTON JOHN, who rushed for 52 yards and one TD, was perhaps the best of all. The Panthers also got a significant boost from JEILO HAMENYIMANA, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 115 yards.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Discovery Canyon, who bounced back after a loss on the road back in September. Their defense stepped up to hand Pueblo Centennial a 43-0 shutout on Friday. That 43 point margin sets a new team best for the Thunder this season.
Harrison better focus on containing Ethan Ramsay and Bronson Mack as the pair were huge in Discovery Canyon's win. Ramsay gained 119 total yards and a touchdown, while Mack rushed for 60 yards and a pair of scores. What's more, Ramsay racked up 34 receiving yards, the most he's had since back in September of 2024.
Discovery Canyon was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 235 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 161 rushing yards every time they've taken the field this season.
Discovery Canyon pushed their record up to 5-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. Those home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 48.8 points over those games. As for Harrison, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.
Saturday's contest might be decided on the ground. Harrison has been excellent on the ground this season, having averaged 181.8 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Discovery Canyon struggles in that department as they've been averaging 262.3 rushing yards. There's a good chance Saturday's matchup turns into a tough fight on the ground.
Harrison took a serious blow against Discovery Canyon when the teams last played back in October of 2024, falling 49-6. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Panthers were down 26-6.
