Baseball Recap: Madison Plains Has No Trouble Against Northmor

Madison Plains not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since April 30th (when they won 10-0). They were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over the Northmor Golden Knights. The Golden Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matchups by seven runs or more this season.

Gavin Rhoads made a big impact no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over four innings pitched. He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than two walks in nine consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with one home run, four runs, and one stolen base. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April.

In other batting news, Ben Rolfe and Xaiden Sharpe did most of the damage at the plate: Rolfe went 1-for-3 with two runs and two RBI, while Sharpe went 1-for-2 with three RBI and one double. That's the most RBI Rolfe has posted since back in April.

Madison Plains was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .458. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Madison Plains' record now sits at 16-6. As for Northmor, their loss dropped their record down to 15-9.

As of now, neither Madison Plains nor the Golden Knights have any future games scheduled.
