There's no place like home for James F. Byrnes, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Boiling Springs Bulldogs a 6-0 shutout on Friday. Considering the Rebels have won five contests by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

The team relied heavily on Blake Collins, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Bubba Gowan, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

James F. Byrnes now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Boiling Springs, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season.

James F. Byrnes will challenge Dorman at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Dorman will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something James F. Byrnes surely won't give up without a fight. As for Boiling Springs, they will take on Eastside at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Eastside will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Boiling Springs surely won't give up without a fight.
