Temple put the finishing touches on their fifth blowout victory of the season on Friday. They took their contest at home with ease, bagging a 62-20 victory over Crawford County.
Cj Gray was his usual excellent self, rushing for 228 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries, while also picking up 37 receiving yards. Cayson McAnallan also deserves a shout-out for his two touchdowns.
Meanwhile, Irwin County beat Bacon County 25-14 on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Irwin County.
Irwin County found their leader in underclassman Jason Jackson, who rushed for 82 yards and a touchdown. Jackson really tore up the turf during one magnificent 82-yard run.
Temple's victory bumped their record up to 5-5. As for Irwin County, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 5-5 record this season.
