After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Monroeville, Plymouth was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They skirted past the Lucas Cubs 6-4. The victory was some much needed relief for the Big Red as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.
Madison Montgomery made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out nine batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off two hits.
