Crater had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They never let the Hillsboro Spartans get on the board and left with an 11-0 victory on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Comets, who have now won 13 games by six runs or more so far this season.

The win was the tenth in a row for Crater, bringing their record up to 18-8. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.6 runs on average over those games. As for Hillsboro, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-14.

Coming up, Crater will face off against Eagle Point on Friday. The Comets' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Eagles have averaged an impressive 8 runs per game this season. Hillsboro does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
