If the Holy Name Green Wave were feeling good off their 76-54 takedown of the Normandy Invaders last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Holy Name was outmatched by the Knights on the road and fell 81-52. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Holy Name has scored all season.
It was another big night for Jonas Nichols, who shot 4-for-10 from beyond the arc and dropped a double-double on 32 points and 13 rebounds for Archbishop Hoban. Nichols hasn't dropped below 20 points for four straight games. Andrew Karhoff was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Holy Name's loss dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Archbishop Hoban, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-6.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Holy Name will take on the Demons at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Archbishop Hoban, they will head out on the road to square off against the Bulldogs at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
