The IDEA Sports Park Stingrays put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against Hebbronville as IDEA Sports Park made off with a 56-34 victory. Given IDEA Sports Park's advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 475th, while Hebbronville is ranked 1259th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Hebbronville's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Alejandro Vasquez, who scored 8 points along with 11 rebounds. Another player making a difference was jose garcia, who scored 10 points.
IDEA Sports Park's win bumped their record up to 7-0. As for Hebbronville, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-6.
IDEA Sports Park will head out on the road to face off against Lyford at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lyford is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. As for Hebbronville, they will square off against Runge at 2:30 p.m. on Friday. Runge comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
