The biggest upset of the week belonged to Mills University Studies, who took down 57th ranked Jacksonville, 14-7.
Pulaski Academy extended the longest winning streak in 5A Central this week by beating Sylvan Hills, 57-24. This was the team's sixth consecutive win.
Pulaski Academy's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Lawson Vassar threw for 502 and eight touchdowns and LJ Wallace had 201 yards receiving. On the ground Jairus Porter chipped in 35 yards. Hunter Henry helped Pulaski Academy's passing attack out by catching 13 balls for 130 yards.
Pulaski Academy's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Bruins feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Vassar has thrown for 3302 yards and 36 touchdowns this season, while Wallace has 88 catches for 1349 yards. Porter leads the league in rushing with 440 yards.
Two of the top units in the league will face off this week when Kevin Kelley's team takes on the Red Devils. The Bruins' offense has recorded 402 points this season, making them No. 1 in the league, while Jacksonville has permitted only 123 on the year.
