Isaac Alvarez, Northridge Academy's leading three-point artist this season, solidified his role on Friday. Alvarez posted eight points with a field goal percentage of 60%, good enough to set a new career-high in shooting accuracy in the process. He has been stellar as far as field goal percentage is concerned, having posted a shooting accuracy of 45% or higher for three straight games.

Alvarez's strong effort led Northridge Academy over Vaughn and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Northridge Academy is a perfect 9-0 against Vaughn going back to January of 2020, a lead they'll look to extend.
