Ethan Anderson of Berean Christian ran for the longest rushing play in Tri-County - Rock this season against Valley Christian last week.
Saint Mary's moved up to 505 from 569 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Panthers were able to move up by besting St. Patrick-St. Vincent 28-6.
Marquis Perrilliat was the best receiver in the league this week as the Bruins lost to Saint Mary's. Perrilliat racked up 5 receptions for 111 yards. James Terrell helped St. Patrick-St. Vincent's passing attack out by catching 6 balls for 42 yards.
St. Patrick-St. Vincent's Anthony Williams and Ivan Hudson led Tri-County - Rock in both passing and receiving yards. 6-2 quarterback Williams has thrown for 2,221 yards this season, while Hudson has 23 catches for 455 yards. The Vikings' Vince Volpatti leads the league in rushing yards with 1,024.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when El Cerrito takes on Keith Minor's team. The Gauchos are in first place, while the Panthers are in third place.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when El Cerrito takes on Saint Mary's. Kenny Kahn's team has allowed 119 points this season, while the Panthers have given up 103. The Gauchos allowed 7 points last week as they defeated Pinole Valley.
El Cerrito added to the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating the Spartans, 41-7. The victory was the fourth in a row for the Gauchos.
