Immaculata has gone a perfect 7-0 against Franklin recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Spartans will look to defend their home field against the Warriors. Immaculata is coming into the game hot, having won their last three games.
Immaculata is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They blew past Hillsborough 16-1 on Thursday. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Spartans with their most commanding win of the season.

Maddie Falvey was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with four RBI. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, Immaculata let Heather Ryden and Mollie Ferreira run wild. Ryden went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI, while Ferreira went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. Those two RBI gave Ryden a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Caroline Duffey, who went 1-for-3 with three RBI, one run, and one double.
Immaculata always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .667. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Franklin fell victim to Warren Hills Regional and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Blue Streaks, falling 8-0. The Warriors haven't had much luck with the Blue Streaks recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.
Immaculata's victory bumped their record up to 5-8. As for Franklin, their loss dropped their record down to 2-9.
Everything went Immaculata's way against Franklin when the teams last played back in May of 2024, as Immaculata made off with a 9-3 win. Do the Spartans have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Warriors turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
